Our 5-axis contour milling machines and Swiss turning equipment enable orthopedic implant manufacturing, process development, and full production of finished parts from one single machine, which offers a reduced cost and better quality than traditional methods requiring secondary operations. Our 7-axis contour milling and Swiss turning equipment enable us to manufacture nitinol screw implants, plate, and titanium plate implants complete from a single machine.
Orthopedic Implant Machining
Materials used include: nitinol, titanium, PEEK, stainless steel, and cobalt chrome (L605 / Elgiloy). Norman Noble also offers in-house anodizing capabilities for titanium implant machining to provide complete finished parts.
