Werth TomoScope X-ray Computed Tomography

  • Application: 3-D measurement of any parts within a 2″ x 4″ window.
  • Examples: Orthopedic Extremity Plates, Spinal Implants, Geometrically complex parts and assemblies. Mixed material assemblies.
  • Unique Capabilities:
    • Ability to see “inside” parts and assemblies to measure internal features not visible to other automated inspection methods.
    • “On-the Fly” measurement computation to reduce measurement time.
    • No special fixturing or work holding required.
    • Able to measure a wide range of materials and mixed material assemblies.
    • Measures up to 10 parts in one scan.
    • Software can overlay scanned .stl file onto CAD model for direct comparison. Program from CAD model.
    • One scan measures the part complete often replacing multiple inspection steps and sectioning of parts.

ESI Sierra FineScan Systems for Cylindrical Parts

  • Application: Round parts with complex features up to 200 mm in length.
  • Examples: Vascular, Peripheral, Venous and Neurovascular Stents, Neurological clot retrieval devices.
  • Unique Capabilities:
    • Line Scan technology is extremely fast, accurate, and repeatable.
    • Cylindrical parts can be measured as a 2-D image compatible with 2-D CAD models/drawings.
    • Simple fixturing.
    • Programming allows precise placement of measurement locations on the part.

ESI 5-Axis FineScan Systems for Flared or Twisted Geometry

  • Application: Round parts with complex and non-cylindrical features.
  • Examples: Vascular, Peripheral, Venous and Neurovascular Stents, Neurological clot retrieval devices. Transcatheter Heart Valve Frames, AAA Stent Rings, and Stents incorporating non-cylindrical designs.
  • Unique Capabilities:
    • Fastest, most accurate measurement of transcatheter heart valve frames and similar products.
    • Able to measure barbs and flared or twisted geometries.
    • Eliminates the need for additional inspection steps.
