Achieved Zero Lost Time Claims in 2023.
Norman Noble has won a Superior Safety Award from the National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA) for exemplary performance in 2023. Norman Noble’s safety record is among the best in the industry according to Gillen Young, 2024 NTMA Chairman of the Board.
Norman Noble monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in their Daily Management System to measure the progress towards health, safety, and environmental goals. KPIs include number of lost time claims, maximum number of days without a lost time claim, number of recordable injuries, number of first aid incidents, number of days of restricted work activity, number of near misses, and many other factors.
“The Norman Noble team has made tremendous progress over the past 20 years in the Environmental, Health, and Safety fields. Norman Noble cares deeply about the health and safety of our employees and encourages employees to always work and live safely,” said Julie Bennett Lowry, Norman Noble’s Director of Facilities and Environmental Health & Safety. “Norman Noble achieved zero lost time claims in the 2023 calendar year, which resulted in being recognized by the National Tooling & Machining Association for Superior Safety Performance. As of May 9, 2024, Norman Noble has achieved over 736 days without a lost time claim!”
